The title means we’re into the tenth week of 2023, so roughly a fifth of the way through the year. So…How’s your year going? Mine is…not as promised, but I roll with it.

I’m not rejoining the Chris Brown tour, which sucked as I got on with a lot of people connected to it, but I am back out at work already. On Monday I dropped video screens to the NEC in Birmingham for Crufts, the dog show, and then I was at the 02 in Greenwich for Dizzee Rascal, which was great fun. I used to bounce his Boy In Da Corner album in my crappy boy racer car back in the early 2000s. I never thought I’d see it live 20 years later!

That was Wednesday, and now it’s the weekend and I’m back at the 02 for something completely different…Country 2 Country; a multitude of stages and singers and bands and acts, with outside bars and activites. After all the bling and ritz of Rascal’s fans, I’m now surrounded by people dressed as cowboys! And I love it—the diversity of the world of music and the people encompassed by it.

Now I’m gonna go find me a cowgirl.
